WHO WE ARE

We are SYNAPSIN, a collective of neuroscientists and musicians unified by our passion for electronic music. Since the start, we have aimed to create the optimal environment for artists to express themselves without commercial or economic pressures.

DJs and producers have to work with an event-driven industry focused on profit. Line-ups are curated by revenue and not by talent or musical ideas. SYNAPSIN is the motivation to change that. Following the initial critical testing stage, we are finally ready to commence. We have secured funds from our past events and gained the support of private investors. SYNAPSIN becomes a non-profit organisation that will shake the music event industry by its roots.

We aim to facilitate the exposure of emerging talent and non-established artists as their platform for promotion. We select applicants for our events based on their styles and abilities, not by followers or play counts. We combine artists with different genres such as techno, house, 80s, minimal, acid, post-punk, electro, experimental, funk, psytrance, and new wave to help push boundaries between musical styles. We facilitate collaboration and musical inclusion.

SYNAPSIN is for the people. We will cluster in one unique brand record label, promoter and booking agent with one unique purpose: to catapult emerging talents to their success.

Like music, individuals are dynamic elements in constant change and development. We believe that openness to change and inclusion must be a cornerstone of all collectives.

Therefore, we welcome new people to join us. We always looking for musicians such as DJs, producers and instrumentalist which want to give a fresh taste to our roots. We also welcome any feedback (good or bad) or recommendation you can give us.
